IT LIVES.
At long, long last. After months of musings, brainstorms, and IM conversations that dragged into the wee hours of morning, my darling brainchild has been born. Welcome one, welcome all, to Riddlethos.com. I assume (and expect) that you’re all just as ecstatic as I am. And if not… well… you soon will be.
You can find out anything you want to know about the site from our clearly marked FAQ, Bios, and About sections, but I’ll give you the skinny again just for the hell of it. Riddlethos.com is, simply, an outlet for the thoughts, rants, and musings of myself and my cohort Ethan Pipher (otherwise known as Ethos). We’re not here to bring you the latest news, necessarily; (though you’ll be getting quite a bit of it) we’re here to react to all that catches our eyes or ears in the world of videogames. In order to keep things fresh, fun, and gimmicky, each week will have a different theme to it, denoted by the giant-ass banner at the top of the page. Somehow we’ll make a few of our musings tie into the theme week, however arbitrary the connection may be. And even if we can’t, at least you get to look at a pretty banner every week.
And what about me, you ask? My name is Oliver Motok, known hereabouts as Riddles. For better or for worse, I’ve been exposing the denizens of the internets to my writings for quite some time now, and that trend isn’t going away anytime soon. Deep down in my heart of hearts I’m hoping to actually get paid to do this one day, but for now I’ll have to settle for basking in the glory that comes with being an internet celebrity. Of sorts.
For the time being I am located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. By that I mean I plan to flee this place as soon as life allows me, but in all honesty it isn’t a bad place to be. As you can well imagine I spend a fair amount of my free time playing video games. My tastes are fairly diverse, with sports games being the only genre that I reject outright. First-person shooters aren’t exactly my forte, though I’ve been getting better at them in recent months thanks to Team Fortress 2 and Call of Duty 5. Action-adventures and RPGs are where my heart truly lies, though. Unsurprisingly, my two favorite video game series’ are the immortal Legend of Zelda, and Final Fantasy.
Lists are good. Let’s close this out with a few lists:
(A few of my) FAVORITE GAMES (in no particular order):

See you soon, and have fun reading Ethan’s more concise, informative, and entirely impersonal inaugural post below.
