I’m just trying to pinpoint the moment where the breakdown of understanding could have occured, but I fail to see the point where you mention finger cracks …
Yeah, there was a bit of context lost, but I had to capture stuff at the bottom.
I mention that my finger hurt, but you see the very first time I mention crack. Believe me when I say that it was very obvious I meant the game.
Um … how does that exchange serve to throw off suspicion that he’s a crack addict, call me crazy but Oliver’s behaviour seems entirely consistent with crack cocaine addiction.
Well, he tried to steer the conversation AWAY from crack, but his crack-addled brain didn’t realize that would only draw more attention to himself. Happens to me all the time, so I TOTALLY understand.
Yes, he may deserve no credit for guile, but this priceless conversation could not have happened without him, so he deserves credit of SOME nature. I don’t know which, really…
Nice reading comprehension. Lay off the crack. XD
Oh man, this exchange is perfect. I just keep reading it over and over again.

Like Motomu.
Maybe Riddles was just trying to throw off suspicion that HE was actually smoking crack. It would explain a lot.

You are giving Oliver far too much credit for guile and cunning that he clearly does not possess (j/k).
