Happy Thanksgiving from Riddlethos

To all our American readers, that is. We wish you a happy day, and a tender turkey. And a tasty pie. Or two.

While I’m here, I might as well inform you that I’ve finished Assassin’s Creed II. I plan on going back and finishing off a few more side missions, but for reviewing purposes I’m set. Now I just have to write the damn thing.

But as of right now, I’m off to eat some turkey. Duty calls, yes, but this time it will have to wait its turn.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYONE!

More like Happy Thanksgiving from only Riddles. Where was our Canadian cute Peanuts comic, ‘eh?!
    EH?!?!?!?!

    I’M FROM CANADA, ‘EH?!

So is this post turkey day “black friday” that big of a deal?

  3. Riddles says:

@Ethos: We know you’re Canadian. We’ve been mourning this fact for some time now.

@abe80: Yes and no? If the thought of standing in long, long lines in the freezing cold at 5 AM, waiting for some megalomaniacal retail venue to open their doors appeals to you, then Black Friday is your day.

You can snag some sweet deals – I ALMOST felt a pang of want when I saw that Wal-Mart was selling the PS3 Special Edition of Rock Band for $50. But to me, it’s just not worth the little piece of your soul that you’ll lose.

And the PS3 version of Rock Band is not the version to get.

Yeah, I much prefer the online Black Friday deals. When you factor in the time it takes to actually GET the deal, the amount you save just usually isn’t worth it.
