- Personally, I just hope that all the time spent developing ACIII isn't put into the multiplayer. Like SN said, it's much faster if you can reuse all your assets from the first game, and if you reuse all the gameplay mechanics as well, then you can just re-arrange all your pieces from the previous game and make a new game with very little turnaround, then go ahead and work on multiplayer for the rest of the year. Like I said, I hope that's not the case, but we'll see how things shape up.

- It seems like developers are finally getting a firm handle on squeezing more graphical power out of the PS3, so I'm looking forward to lots of pretty games in the years to come :D.

- 18 actually might be pretty close to my average if you exclude weekends when I'm out of town or unable to game for whatever reason. Maybe I'm overestimating a bit, but 2 hours every weeknight and 4 hours each weekend day sounds about right for a mid-high amount of gaming for me in a week.

- I'm not sure how they could count Wii Sports as the best selling game of all time. That's a bit like calling a power cable the "best selling video game accessory of all time" since you can't buy a system without one. I know the game was sold separately in Japan, but I find it hard to believe it would be the best selling game of all time on the backs of Japanese sales alone. It is interesting that everything on that top 5 list is Nintendo, though.

I think that if ACIII is using the same setting, then an end of year release is quite reasonable, as the majority of their assets are already created (a la FFX-2).
