The ending was a big wtf, but it didn’t enrage me or nothing. It just felt like they made 2/3 of the game, went “Holy crap are we way above budget!” and slapped a couple out-of-nowhere ending scenes there and called it a day. Sure, the awesome beginning where you murder someone, and then how you handle the crime scene before leaving directly affects the story in a later scene, is the direct opposite of the linear, QTE-filled, plot-screwing ending, but — eh — the last hour of the game didn’t ruin the first seven for me. I think that’s why everyone is stoked for Heavy Rain. The expectation is all the inspired storyboarding of the first 3/4 of Indigo Prophecy with none of the rushed, wtf aspects at the end.]]>

RE: Heavy Rain Install – I really don’t mind the large installs, assuming they’ll make load times in the game shorter (I mean shorter than they would be without the install, not shorter than other games). I’d rather do all the waiting in one large chunk than add a couple of seconds to every loading screen in the game. I’ve gotta say, I was completely uninterested in this game initially because I thought it would just be a bunch of quick time events, but it is (slowly) getting higher and higher on my list (and not because of the video in the story :F).

-But now it’s CONFIRMED
-I’ve never really gotten into the show. Not because I don’t like it, but because I rarely watch TV anyway.]]>
-The FFXIII 3 disc thing is old news.
