@Riddles: In all seriousness, it is an fantastic game. Really, even if it’s not your thing, it’s one of those games that’s referenced so much you’re doing yourself a disservice by not having played it. Especially since, like Ethos said, it’ll only take about 3-4 hours the first run through (OK, it’s a puzzle game, so the standard deviation on that curve’s probably huge, but still, my point stands). Heck, if you can’t find your copy, I’ll gift one to you on Steam. I say you play it this weekend in honor of the sequel being announced.

Also, has anybody heard if anybody’s figured out what “dattmannh0nee” means from the Portal 2 announcement?

And I didn’t know about Portal 2! And I either didn’t know or forgot that you never played the original! Play it, dammit! It’s one of the greatest games this generation and it’s short as fuck, you have no excuse!

I’ve managed to be pretty good about avoiding FFXIII information. I’ve mostly just read the digital foundry article (and all the footage there looks to have come from the same scene) and a couple extremely negative rants online. We’ll see how that works out :D.
