I'm sure I'd get it. I just have no desire to see it ever happen.

The plain fact of the matter is that the visual experience of Uncharted is a big, big part of what makes the game. Not just the pretty pictures either, but the technical benefits such as motion-capture, and the bombastic setpieces that more than likely couldn't be brought to the PSP.

I'm sure it would be a fun game, but it wouldn't be Uncharted as we know it.

Seriously though, what's not to like about more Uncharted? It's not going to be Uncharted 3, it will just be a side-story like Chains of Olympus. Are you seriously telling me that if Uncharted comes out on PSP you won't get it?

@Pogo: It's just a part of a DLC model I don't like. Stuff that could easily be part of the original product (so much so that's it's already on the disc in this case) being held back so you can make gamers pay $4 for it doesn't sit very well with me. It's a pure money-making gimmick, and doesn't benefit us at all.

@Noob: I do have a PSP, I just don't want to see Uncharted on it.

Why on earth would you complain about getting an Uncharted game that you otherwise wouldn't get?! ..... Oh right, you don't have a PSP. I'd prefer Ready at Dawn (or whoever Naughty Dog choose as their bitch studio) to make a new Uncharted game rather than just another Jak and Daxter title ...

-I have to say I'm really starting to hate obnoxious zero day DLC, I think it's disgusting being required to pay for content which is already on the disc!

@Pogo: Yeah, I think it stems from the hate of day-1 DLC, since the content was obviously finished before the disc was pressed. I've always said I understand what people don't like about it, but it certainly doesn't bother me. If I bought Bioshock 2, I wouldn't be enjoying it any less because there's 500mb (or whatever) of disc space that's not being utilized. I agree that it would be completely different if they advertised that the content is in the game, but then it turns out you need the paid unlock code in order to access it, but I don't believe that's the case here, is it?

It strikes me as very similar to how everybody got all up in arms about Resident Evil 5's paid multiplayer mode. Having the pay gate on the game mode pretty much guaranteed it would be dead in the water, but it in no way effected the single player experience (which, if I'm not mistaken, was the reason anybody played RE5).

I think the bioshock 2 already on the disc thing is a complete non-story.

It's just like if you download a demo and then decide to buy the game. But then you pay $10 for an unlock code on the demo that you 'already downloaded'!

Suppose they secretly included bioshock 2 on the original bioshock disc, would it then be such a stretch to charge for the unlock code?

Putting the supplemental content on the disc is just an effiient means of bandwidth use reduction. Not sure where any ethics considerations come into play. It's not like you were tricked into thinking the content was suppose to be free. To argue foul here would be to imply that you're paying for bandwidth, not content.
