I sit here at work waiting for The Hills After Show to start, but we show the episode of The Hills to the audience first so I am consequently listening to the theme song. The lyrics scream at me: “So close I can almost taste it.”
All I can think about during those words is the copy of Brutal Legend sitting on my desk. Just over an hour away…
An Alternate Meaning

Tuesday, October 13th, 2009How many fake banners can we go through this week? Thanks Andogo for these masterpieces/monstrosities.
That’s right, bitches, I’m back to my 923874932 short meaningless posts a day. Get used to it!

Thanks!
Tuesday, October 13th, 2009After less than two months with comments enabled, and a site that’s only been around for under three months, 1000 comments is huge. Thanks for the perpetual and consistent feedback, guys, and keep it up!
So Close and Yet…
Tuesday, October 13th, 2009
This morning – October 13, 2009 – I woke up and bought Brutal Legend. In that order. Notice that “breakfast” didn’t make the list? I’m unsure why I was so eager. Perhaps because I wanted to ensure I had a copy, perhaps because I just want to look at the case all day, but the terrible truth is that I can’t play it for another 8 hours at the time of this writing. Yes, I bought the game close to Noon O’clock and I can’t play it until around 11:30pm. Ugh. It’s going to be a lot day. At least the show that I’m staying late to work on has a Playmate as a guest, but the word is that she declined the suggestion to do the show in a bikini. Boo.
Hypetastic!
Monday, October 12th, 2009If you haven’t yet, look at the post below for awesomeness. For now, I’m hyping through my face for Brutal Legend. I didn’t think to check for a midnight release although I’m sure Toronto had them, but I napped and woke up too late. Anyway, I should try and sleep again, but for now, enjoy the IGN Video Review of it. It absolutely increases my hype.
