All We Want for Christmas is Your Forgiveness

Friday, December 25th, 2009

Yeah, so you know how Ethos hinted that we might get off our asses and post some content this week, regardless of the fact that we’re on vacation?

If you’ve yet to notice, that definitely didn’t happen.

As ashamed as I am to show my face around here, I couldn’t neglect my readers on Christmas Day. So here I am, bringing you warm holiday wishes, and a piece of advice: Go. See. Avatar.

Yes, that movie with the weird-looking elongated smurfs. Go see it. It’s a landmark in sci-fi cinema. If I wasn’t bound to the crushing laziness of Christmas Break Week, I might go so far as to pen a review for it.

Actually, now that the thought is in my head, I probably will. Look for it sometime this weekend.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, Riddlethosians! I know you’ve seen this picture before, but seeing that it is, in fact, the greatest photograph ever taken, I figured I’d throw it up here again for your viewing pleasure.

Happy Holidays, you... ah, I can't say it. Merry Christmas, you lovely people.

Fuck You It’s Christmas Break Week!

Monday, December 21st, 2009

ethosWe’ve been delivering incredible content for this site for 5 months straight, and now that it’s Christmas, we’re going to take a small break. That’s right, it’s a big fuck you to all you faithful readers who have kept us going to this point!

But just in case that last paragraph made you sigh a breath of relief, don’t throw a party just yet, we’ll be back in full swing next week. Also, just because Riddles and I aren’t planning on posting doesn’t mean we won’t, necessarily. It just means you very likely won’t see any of our regular weekly features. But who knows?! It’s Christmas Break, so we’ll do what we want.

Until then, read the indisputably terrible Fireside Games List I made during Winter Week. And if that doesn’t depress you enough, Riddles wrote an unthinkably bad Winterscape List. There’s also no reason to not figuratively beat your brain with a brick even more by spending 4 hours struggling through my Zelda: Spirit Tracks review or Riddles’ Assassin’s Creed 2 review.

Don’t forget about the RSS feed for comments on the sidebar. That way you can keep up to date with any conversations or debate that might be happening on Riddlethos when there’s not new content being shoved down your throats.

But for now, I’m going to make breakfast and then play Dragon Quest VIII for 20 hours and not write about it. Why? Fuck You! It’s Christmas Break Week!
