In the Spirit of Democracy…

Wednesday, April 28th, 2010

Unlike Ethos, I’m going to honor the voice of the people. I’ve owned Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne for almost 2 years, and now, in honor of our second Backlog Week, I’m finally going to play it. Sure, there’s no way I finish it in a week, but that’s not really the point anyway.

Check back later today for my initial thoughts. Time to see if the game’s as much a challenge as people claim.

Alright… Time to Vote, Ladies and Gents

Monday, April 26th, 2010

As you’re all aware, this week is Backlog Week 2. There’s even a banner up now to prove it, thanks to yours truly. (I know it’s not exactly the most artistic thing ever made, but it serves our purposes.) Anyway, with this being the case, we must now decide which game from my gigantic backlog I’ll be focusing on this week.

In the spirit of democracy, I’ll be taking input from you people as to what I should play. Below is a list of ten games among my collection that I’ve never played. Which one, in your opinion, is most worthy of my attention?

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne (PS2)

Metal Gear Solid (PS1)

The Darkness (Xbox 360)

Left 4 Dead (Xbox 360)

Fallout 3 (Xbox 360)

F.E.A.R: First Encounter Assault Recon (Xbox 360)

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (Wii) (Note: I have actually played a bit of this before, but it was years ago and hardly worth mentioning.)

Jade Empire (Xbox)

Fable: The Lost Chapters (Xbox)

Folklore (PS3)

There! I’d say I’ve given myself a pretty decent selection. Vote below in the handy-dandy comments section!
