Scatter Storming. Issue #012 “Too Much Hair Gel”

ss012To save this series from getting too classy, I decided to at least choose an embarrassing photo for this week’s cover art. Anyway, Wind Waker’s still pretty sweet, but let’s see what I have to say with my typical lack of preparation that’s necessary for this feature.

Mr. Cloud Man! -
Remember that guy? My DSi has gone through many trials of being left places, losing chargers, and having good games come out for it. But now I’ve finally finished the toon and I’m just working on animating the “The End”. Progress!

I didn’t end up playing Wind Waker Tonight -
Yeah, it turns out when you’re not used to having TV, and then you move to a new place that has TV, including some choice HD channels, you forget about playing Wind Waker and end up writing your Scatter Storming article 2 hours after you wanted to go to bed. My life, people.

Mass Effect 2 is going to be like a blowjob -
Awesome, and not happening soon enough. It’ll also likely end messy. That trailer that Riddles posted reminded me how excited I am for that game. I need to beat so many games before then because if the original is any indication, it will consume me. Um…like…a blow job.

Mario Bros can be hard -
That secret world? I unlocked one of the levels. The first one. Yeah, it’s refreshingly not easy. Not that the game is easy, but it’s nice to have that extra level of difficulty.

Holy shit, stupid TV -
Seriously, I just watched some of the stupidest shit I’ve seen in my entire life, and you all have to suffer for it.
FUCK YOU!!!
Ugh, see what’s happening to me? I don’t mean that. I just regret the past…7, 8 hours of my life. Seriously, I love you guys.

Can you believe I started this 5 hours ago? -
I can’t.

Worst Scatter Storming ever -
Seriously. I’m very, very sorry. The title should read “Too Much Suck Gel”. Weekend starts tomorrow. Let’s try to turn this train wreck around then, hm?

Scatter Storming. Issue #011 “Beautiful Graveyard”

ss011Well folks. Once again it is (very) late Wednesday night. Thankfully, this is my last late night for another little while. I’m not holding my breath though, a lot of things can pop up last minute. Either way, let’s see what I can muster.

I’m planning an editorial -
Ooo! Big deal! But here’s the thing: I actually plan for it to be relevant to the theme week. Can you believe it? I barely can. But although I moved this week plus all my other blah blah blah that has kept me busy this past few months, I have a lot to say about the themes of Autumn in relation to video games. And while I’ve shown my very real wacky side a lot on this site, I don’t think I’ve shown enough of my fruity introspective side that makes it all the easier to taunt me. I’m hoping to have time this Friday.

More God of War -
Haven’t played more of the game yet, although I want to, but I did play the demo for the third one. Now, I don’t know what I was expecting, but it was more God of War. I mean, things were noticeably different, but not in ways I guess I would expect from a game two titles later in the series in HD for the first time. Especially a series that gets drooled on so much. Again, much better games than I originally thought, but I don’t expect to throw around the same superlatives that most others did if I end up reviewing it. Overall cool demo, though.

DSi Charger -
I bought another one. Woo! Back to Pokémon and finally finishing that Mr. Cloud Man cartoon.

Hype Train. PUN! -
I’m starting to get pretty excited for Final Fantasy XIII and Link’s Choo Choo Adventure. Moreso the former, but even minor excitement after my previous apathy for Zelda feels like hype. But after the previously shown stat screen (that Andogo translated in the comments), I’m starting to remember the other side of Final Fantasy games that I like. I’ve seen a ton of character and CG work, and even a number of battle scenes, but now I’m remembering that a sizable percentage of these games are spent in the depths of the menus, so these new screens are very appealing.

I’m done. Tired. Done. Sleep and Looney Tunes time. I love all of you.

I’m Back!

Hey folks, I’ve been running around away from the…er…Riddlethos offices…yes…
Anyway, the point is I’m back and so you should see the most ridiculous News Roundup yet posted later on in the day.
The bad news? I left my DSi at Pogo’s so Mr. Cloud Man’s end may not be posted during Xenosaga week although the animation is very close to being finished.
If you’d like, you may scroll down to that “minor update” picture of the coal miner, because it applies.
But for now, that’s all I got! Suck it!

Soundtrack Updatetastic

Yeah, so I didn’t feel like listening to Xenosaga this morning. FAIL! I figured that if my resistance to the music was that strong, my bias would have been a bit unfair in my continued impressions. I’m not feeling that way anymore, so I’ll listen to it throughout my workday and give you my Impressionstastic Part II.
Also, Mr. Cloud Man Runs Into Trouble is coming along nicely. The concluded tale should be ready to post at the end of this week. I know you’re all waiting for it!

Cop out or AWESOME out?

Wow Flipnote Studio is the most fun I’ve had for free in a long time. So I promised lots of dumb pictures, and here’s over 50 dumb pictures that I just drew! They just happen to be put together into an animation. For those of you that have known me since I was a kid, Mr. Cloud Man needs no explanation, but this is a situation you’ve never seen him in before. HOW WILL HE ESCAPE?!?!
