While You Were Out… – Grande No Water With Whip Tazo Chai Week

Sunday, September 13th, 2009

Yikes…
That’s a long title.
Anyway, here’s some links to some highlights.

-I discover I’m better than Riddles at video games and then I brag rudely about it.

-Riddles has a Hey! Look! Listen! renaissance with two great editions to the series. Not only was Riddles on the top of his form, but he introduced us to the irreplaceable PS3FTW and his timeless wisdom.

-In honour of Riddles’ most hated week so far, I start my Chai Count and eventually describe the perfect autumn beverage.

-Riddles talks about five licensed games that he thinks are good, despite the bad rap that comes with the “genre”. Could you call licensed games a genre?

-I introduce a Trophy Tramp rivalry with Abe80 with insane stakes. More details still to come, including other reader involvement…

-And moments ago, I started a new segment!

That’s it! I should take a second to genuinely thank all our readers for making this the most diverse and interactive week yet! Your comments are encouraging and appreciated and the reason we keep this site going with the level of content we produce. But enough gushing, I’ve got a late News Roundup to make…
Should I get a new "While You Were Out..." picture?

While You Were Out… – Xenosaga Week

Sunday, September 6th, 2009

So Xenosaga Week is coming to a close, and while Riddles spent the day playing Episode I of the series yesterday and he’ll probably have something to say about it, it is also time to wrap up the week and show you loyal readers some of the highlights.

-Riddles continues the Theme Week curse by not being able to play a Xenosaga game.

-I give some impressions of the Xenosaga soundtrack. I imply that there’s more to come, but the soundtrack didn’t hold my attention all that strongly. Perhaps that’s a bit of a review in itself.

-Riddles played Batman before me and talks about how he likes it (big surprise). He also reveals a bit about his childhood…

-I talk about the semi-regular features that have become fully regular features, and later on Riddles confirms our RSS feed.

-Riddles talks about his experience with Xenogears, comparing it with his knowledge and love for the Xenosaga series.

Of course, that’s not even half of what Riddlethos brought you this week, but it will bring you up to speed if you happened to miss most of the week. Bring on the most peculiar of all weeks coming up tomorrow!

And because the picture was such a hit last time…

While You Were Out…

Sunday, August 30th, 2009

As this glorious Team ICO week is wrapping up, I realized that quite a bit of content has gone up that you may have missed if you don’t check the site every 7 seconds like I do. Of course, these are just some of my choices, you can always scroll down and click the “older posts” button to fulfill your undoubtedly insatiable appetite for Riddlethos.

-Both Riddles and I got the PS3 Slim this week. Riddles documented his purchase with a picture post.

-I posted my second “‘ELLO GUV’NAH” piece to tell you all what I had been playing.

-To continue with regular segments. Riddles touched us all with another “Hey! Look! Listen!

-I had an all-out The Last Guardian Day to talk about hopes and fears for the highly anticipated title.

-Riddles spoke so beautifully about Shadow of the Colossus that he even convinced a reader to buy the game.

-I terrified everybody with a preview of my upcoming Mr. Cloud Man Has An Accident cartoon.

-And of course our weekly News Roundup that you can always access from the side menu whenever you’d like.

And here’s an awesome picture of real life Pac-Man that Deerwolf gave me.
